Shipping Issues

2. Return & Refund Policy

A. Returns for Physical Merchandise (e.g., Uniforms, Gear)

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Please note the following:

  • Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as received. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on worn uniforms, gloves, or any other protective gear.
  • Timeframe: You have [e.g., 14 days] from the date of delivery to initiate a return.
  • Process: To initiate a return, please email us at sales@macsmartialarts.com with your order number and reason for return. We will provide you with return instructions and the shipping address.
  • Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee we will receive your returned item.
  • Refunds: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to the original method of payment within [e.g., 5-10 business days]. The original shipping cost is non-refundable.

B. Refunds for Services (Memberships & Class Packages)

Please read this section carefully, as it pertains to your membership agreement.

  • Free Trial: Our introductory free trial class is offered with no obligation.
  • Monthly Memberships: Memberships are recurring and billed on a monthly basis. You may cancel your future recurring billing at any time by providing [e.g., 30 days] written notice via email or in person. Cancellation will stop future charges but does not qualify for a refund of the current or previous month's fees. You will have access to classes until the end of your pre-paid billing cycle.
  • Long-Term Contracts & Packages: Refunds for pre-paid semester or annual packages are considered on a case-by-case basis for serious circumstances such as medical injury (with a doctor's note) or permanent relocation. A partial refund may be issued, minus a registration/administration fee and the value of any classes already taken at the drop-in rate. Please contact us to discuss your situation.
  • General Policy: We do not provide refunds for change of mind, missed classes, or temporary schedule conflicts. We happily offer make-up classes for missed sessions, subject to availability.

3. Exchanges

We will gladly exchange any unopened and unused merchandise for a different size, subject to availability. Please contact us at sales@macsmartialarts.com to initiate an exchange. You will be responsible for the cost of shipping the new item to you and returning the original item to us.

4. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at sales@macsmartialarts.com within [e.g., 48 hours] of delivery. Please include your order number and photos of the damaged or defective item. We will evaluate the issue and, if applicable, provide a replacement or refund.
